Applications for Community Oncology Data Reviews

The stream of newly published data in oncology is constantly evolving. The key question is: How does this apply to community-based oncology clinical practice right now? As a service to its members, Cornerstone hosts clinical data review symposia to highlight specific studies from major medical conferences and creates discussion forums on how new clinical practices can be implemented in the community setting.

Community oncology fellowship advancement initiative (COFAI)

Specifically for oncologists who are new to community-based oncology, COFAI is an exclusive series of educational web conferences. The content is created by community-based oncology practice leaders from the medical and practice management perspectives with a goal to accelerate quality patient care in the community setting.

  • Provides content bridges from practicing medicine in an academic setting to a community setting
  • Focuses on business concepts in the community-based oncology practice (maximizing drug coverage for patients, efficiently working with payers and effective business decision making) as well as personal and career considerations
